The Computer Society of India (CSI) Student Branch of the Malla Reddy Engineering College (Autonomous) inaugurated by the Chairman, CSI Hyderabad Chapter ,Sri.I.L.Narasimaha Rao and the Vice Chairman Dr.A.Govardhan on 22 December 2012 at Mini Auditorium of Malla Reddy Engineering College, Maisammaguda, and Hyderabad.

The Principal Dr.S.Sudhakara Reddy has given the welcome address to the gathering by emphasizing the membership of CSI. Sri I.L.Narasimha Rao has explained the importance of CSI Student Branch and also the role of members in CSI. Dr.A.Govardhan explained various activities of the CSI in relevance with Computer Science & Information Technology. The Academic Director of Malla Reddy Group of Institutions Prof.R.Madanmohan and the Head of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering Dr.B.Srinivasa Rao were also present on the dais. The CSI Student Branch Secretary Mr.K.Dharmveer Tiwari (B.Tech 3rd Year CSE Branch) has proposed the vote of thanks. After inauguration, on behalf of the CSI Student Branch A one day National Level Workshop has been conducted on “Information Security Awareness” in association with the CSI & CDAC. The Workshop was concluded with the vote of thanks by the CSI Student Branch Counselor Mr.T.Rahul, Associate. Professor of the CSE Department.
