4T Bn NCC , COY 2/5 ENROLLMENT 2024
On November 06, 2024, 4T Bn NCC selections was held in MREC. Principal Dr. A. Ramaswamy Reddy sir welcomed Army officers CO Col Ashish Tripathi , AO Lt Col Asitosh Guptha and PI staff and conveyed best wishes to all the selected students for further rounds. Under the supervision of MREC NCC ANO Lt Balaji Krushna P, 4T Bn CO, AO,SM and PI staff, the selections were conducted. The total number of students registered is 650. In the first screening test, 150 got selected. In selections, ground tests, medical tests, physical tests, Activity tests, & written tests are conducted. In these tests, 50 got selected out of 150.
Har Ghar Thiranga Rally - MREC Campus to Maisammaguda Village on 14.08.2024
NCC COY 2/5 MREC: Har Ghar Thiranga Rally - MREC Campus to Maisammaguda Village was conducted on 14.08.24 at MREC Campus. Principal Dr A.Ramaswamy Reddy grace the occasion and started the rally. Total 21 NCC cadets (SD:14,SW:7) , ANO Lt Balaji Krushna P ,NSS volunteers Deans, Heads and Staff members were participated.
Independence Day Celebrations on Aug 15
NCC COY 2/5 MREC Independence Day was conducted on 15.08.24 at MREC Campus. Principal Dr A.Ramaswamy Reddy grace the occasion and hosted the National Flag. Total 21 NCC cadets (SD:14,SW:7) , ANO Lt Balaji Krushna P , Deans, Heads and Staff members were participated.
INTERNATIONAL DAY AGAINST DRUG ABUSE & ILLICIT TRAFFICKING on 26.06.2024 at Shilpakala Vedika Hitech City Hyderabad
MREC COY 2/5 NCC CADETS participated in the Anti-Drug Abuse & illicit trafficking event held at Shilpa Kala Vedika, Hitech city. On the occasion of INTERNATIONAL DAY AGAINST DRUG ABUSE & ILLICIT TRAFFICKING REPORT. Total 10 SD cadets participated in the event.
International Yoga Day on 21.06.24 at MREC Yoga Center
NCC COY 2/5 MREC International Yoga Day was conducted on 21.06.24 at MREC Yoga Center. Principal Dr A.Ramaswamy Reddy grace the occasion. The Yoga session was taken by Dr. K Srinivasa Rao Sir he is a Certified Yoga trainer. Total 20 NCC cadets (SD:13,SW:7) , ANO Lt Balaji Krushna P were participated.
SAVE EARTH
“SAVE EARTH” the campaign program was conducted on the occasion of World Environment Day on 05.06.2024 at Malla Reddy Engineering College-Dhulapally. Principal Dr.A.Ramaswamy Reddy sir launched the event poster. The total participants are Cadets SW: 6 SD: 6, Students (ECE: 50 CSE: 55 CSE DS: 40) and ANO 01.
UG NBA Inspection
UG NBA Inspection committee visited MREC on 02.03.2024.Principal Dr.A.Ramaswamy Reddy sir welcomed the distinguished NBA expert committee members. NCC Coy 2/5 MREC ANO and Cadets invited committee members.

Blood Donation Camp
Dr. A. Ramaswamy Reddy, Principal inaugurated the Mega Blood Donation Camp in association with RED Cross Society Telangana State branch at the Major Auditorium in MREC on 27.02.2024.NCC Cadets Donated blood for society.
NCC Selections in MREC
On September 27, 2023, 4T Bn NCC sections were held in MREC. Principal Dr. A. Ramaswamy Reddy sir welcomed Army officers and conveyed best wishes to all the selected students for further rounds. Under the supervision of MREC NCC CTO, 4T Bn CO, AO, SM,SM and PI staff, the selections were conducted. The total number of students registered is 608. In the first screening test, 215 got selected. In selections, ground tests, medical tests, physical tests, Activity tests, & written tests are conducted. In these tests, 68 got selected out of 215.
Graduation Day 2023
Graduation, Placement & Alumina Day was held on 1st July 2023 MREC Campus.NCC Cadets performed a guard of honour to welcome Chair Ch. Malla Reddy Sir and Director Dr Ramaswamy Reddy sir ..Chairman appreciated the cadets for the act. 20+ cadets were participated.
4T Bn NCC CATC IX Camp
4T Bn NCC CATC IX Camp was conducted in MREC Campus on 27 sep to 04 Oct 2022. NCC Secundrabad Group Schools and College participated . 600+ JD/JW & SD/SW cadets attended the camp from different places in Telangana. The Camp was conducted successfully by support of MREC Principal Dr.A.Rama Swami Reddy & Management .

Inspection was held by 4T Bn NCC CO Col Amith Purty at MREC Campus 0n 22.02.2022.
2T NCC Air Wing Inspection
2T Bn NCC Air Wing Unit SM Siva pal warrant officer visited MREC on 30.05.202 to inspect college for establish NCC sub unit in the campu. Welcome address by MREC Principal Dr.A.RamaswamiReddy , Deans and Faculty Members.
SCOPE OF EMPLOYMENT IN DEFENSE SECTOR & IT’S PSU’S
NCC Guest Lecture was conducted on 28.12.2021 . The title of the session is "SCOPE OF EMPLOYMENT IN DEFENSE SECTOR & IT’S PSU’S" .It was delivered by Mr.Ashok K Panda, CCO, FEME - MCME . Nearly 500+ students are participated in the event. The session was went well. Students got inspired and had a nice interaction with the Official.
