Graduation Day, Placement Day & Alumina Day was celebrated in MREC on 25.09.2021. SAC ,Literary Club students gave their performances and entertained the audience. Especially the Literary club students hosted the program .

ORAL PRESENTATIONS

An oral presentation is a short talk on a set topic given to a tutorial or seminar group. In an oral presentation one (or more) students give a talk to a tutorial group and present views on a topic based on their readings or research. The rest of the group then joins in a discussion of the topic. MREC(A) literary club has conducted the activity during SAC hours in the academic year 2021-22.

NBA Visit

NBA Visit in MREC on 29.10.2021.SAC Literary Club students performed and entertained the committee members. The programs got huge response by the audience. Director MREC appreciated and encouraged the Literary club students for the lively performance in the skit and excellent anchoring .

Group Discussion

GD basically demonstrates the skill to strike a balance between individual excellence and group performance. A person scoring high on this parameter will be more probable to work in groups and hence contribute effectively to organizations. It also reflects your team skills, listening skills and willingness to accept diverse viewpoints. Debating helps to improve one's listening skills, as one has to listen to other people's opinions. Debating helps one learn to speak slowly and clearly and to be understood by others. Debating is also an excellent way to learn 'thinking' skills in an analytical way

Orientation Day

Anchoring all the events in the college is through Literary Club An anchor plays a great role in the success of an event. It isn't just a person speaking over the mic to fill in the gaps between programs. An anchor has many hats to don being in shoes of the host of the occasion. The most challenging part of anchoring is having the attendees involved in the proceedings of an event.

JAM

JAM is the acronym for Just A Minute. In this process, students are asked to speak on a topic of their choice or on a given topic for a minute. It is conducted for students to improve their communication skills. It helps the introvert and shy students to take initiative and speak on the topic for a minute.We make the students to practice in our club

17th Graduation Day

The Music Club, one of the most prestigious and sought-after clubs of the institute carries the responsibility of instilling a sense of musical and cultural wonder. We celebrated Graduation day in our college on 23 July 2022. As music club plays major role in the college in all aspects, Music Club students performed actively to entertain the parents and guests. Music club students who are passing out this , they recollected their memories. we celebrated Graduation day successfully with heart touching Music and Songs.

AICTE SPICES SWARAMRUTHAM

Swaramrutham music competition conducted on 09.07.2022 at MREC under SAC by the support of AICTE SPICES Scheme. The program starts with registration by google link( https://forms.gle/QJPBcwW15pg6rtng6 ). The total number of registered participants are 77.The Screening process is in 2 Levels First & Final Round Screening. First round screening was done under the 5 judges. The students participated in First Round are 52 from these 22 students got qualified for the Final Round. Final round screening process was done under the music trainer Dr. Lalitha Sridevi qualified Music Vocal Trainer. Finally 3 members are selected out of 22 as final winners. These three finalists awarded as First Runner-up, Second Runner-up & Voice of MREC Titles. The program was conducted in a well manner the total audience attended the program are around 1500.We thank Dr. A. Students from music club organized music competition inter departmental on the occasion of Akshara fest 2k 19 organised on 13&14 of March 2019. Registration for singing competition and Practice regarding the 'Student Got Talent' has occurred. So from our college, through music club some of the students have practiced songs.

Sports Competitions for Foundation & Fresher's Day-2017, On 31-08-2017

Foundation Day along with Fresher's Day is planned. For Fresher's Day sports events are planned. This is especially for the first year students of all branches of MREC(A). Here students has a chance to explore their talent in the first year itself. In this regard, sports practice sessions for first years were started in SAC SPORTS CLUB. So many students joined practice session with enthusiasm.

A discussion on Solar storms and their impact on living beings on earth is conducted with the following objectives. • To acquaint the participants with the impact of Solar storms on the living being on earth in general and human beings in particular • To assess the impact of solar storms on the internet and other kinds of communication Around 7 students from I B Tech II semester participated actively in the discussion and shared their views. The faculty coordinator summarized the whole discussion and shared a paper titled 'Solar Superstorms: Planning for an Internet Apocalypse' by Sangeetha Abdu Jyothi of University of California, Irvine for further investigation by the students.

MREC Technical club in association with Codechef MREC scheduled a 8 week hands on training workshop for the registered students on 'Web development 101'. Session 03 is conducted on November 19, 2022 in the Seminar Hall, Mech / Mining block. Around 54 students attended the session. MOCK TEST FOR PLACEMENT (CIVILDEPARTMENT)

The mock interviews are conducted as a practice job interview held with a professional career counsellor. A mock interview helps you learn how to answer difficult questions, develop interview strategies, improve your communication skills, and reduce your stress before an actual job interview. Such interviews are conducted by Department of CIVIL in regular intervals for the benefit of students to get the taste of the entire placement process during the Campus Placements. The feedback by Human Resource (HR) officials of various esteemed organizations is shared with the students so that the students apprehend where they stand in the competition. Industry HRs attend the process to help the students in gauging their Aptitude, Technical and other skills and give them their valuable suggestions

INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO PRIYADARSHINI JURALA PROJET(CIVIL DEPARTMENT)

As the part of the education curriculum, a tour was organized to PriyadarshiniJurala project MahabubnagarDist for the III rd year students.A group of 45 students (20girls and 25 boys) along with 5 facultymembers (2 female faculty and 3 male faculty) visited Jurala project on 29/02/2020 (Saturday).Before the commencement of the tour necessary permissions was obtained from the project authorities to visit dam site and power house. With the permission of the Director and Principal of MREC the team proceeded to Nandimalla, the dam site location.Students learnt about priyadarshinijural a project (pjp) is a dam on the Krishna river situated about 15km from gadwall jogulambagadwal district. The Project foundation stone laid by smt.Priyadarshini Indira Gandhi for the welfare of the district. The juralahas a full reservoir level of 1045 feet and has a full capacity of 11.94TMC as of August 2013 the project has an estimated capacity of 9.74 TMC. The jurala project was completed in 1995 . About 1,04,774 acres through left and right main canals in mahabubnagar district.6824 acres under Raman pad (Ookachettivagu) balancing reservoir through PJP LMC. Supplementation to 30,000 acres tail end ayyakat of RDS through PJPRMC or link canal. About 234mw power utilizing surplus water (priyadarshinijuralahydro electric project). Thousands of acres irrigated and lakhs of tonnes of food grains and other crops have been produced once again in kharif 2019

SAC Technical Test has been conducted on date by EEE Department. Interested students have participated for this test. The test contains 40 Questions and the time duration was 60 Minutes in BLOCK 3 ROOM NO113 The main aim of this technical test is to improve the ability of the students to participate competitive test during their academics also encourage the students lo learn the new concepts and manage the time efficiently. A DEBATE section by student is conducted by SAC TECHINCAL CLUB by Department of EEE in BLOCK 3 ROOM NO113 The topic for the debate has been shared to the student prior to 2days and asks the students to prepare. On the Debate day registered students have invited to the Debate room. Each student has been given time to share his/her technical ideas on the topic given and debate themselves to defend their statement. The evaluation process based on their Idea of the debate topic, communication and effectiveness of defending their statement. The aim of the Debate is to improve the effective communication with the team and share the knowledge among the team

Report of “ELETECH”, technical club work done on Saturday i.e., 15.2.2020 As a part of our technical club works scheduled on every Saturday from 2PM to 4PM. On 24-07-2019, Graduation Day is going to be held for the passed out Final year students (MR-15 Reg) of all branches of MREC(A). For that day, some cultural events are planned to perform. So a classical dancer from II ECE-B Section practiced dance in Dance Club. And some more students as a group practiced a patriotic song.

On 20-11-2020, Orientation Day is going to be held for the First year students of all branches of MREC(A). For that day, some cultural events are planned to perform. So a classical dancer from III ECE-B Section practiced dance with total makeup. One more student also practiced classical dancein Dance Club.

COVID - VACCINATION DRIVE

As a part of SAC-Social Service we organized vaccination drive. As a part of this programme vaccination for covid was given to all faculty and students those who are eligible. This vaccination drive was very useful for the faculty as well as students. The faculty and student coordinators encouraged the student and faculty to participate in the drive.

World Water Day-2021

As a part of SAC-Social Service we celebrated World Water Day. As a part of this programme we tried to get the awareness about the importance of water. We organized painting exhibition which shows the importance of water and how the water is precious. Student volunteers actively participated in the programme.

National Youth Day

As a part of SAC Social Service National youth day was celebrated in the campus on January 12th. The student coordinators and faculty coordinators assembled at the venue. As a part of the programme we conducted different events. As a part of this programme student volunteers actively participated in this programme and the student volunteers provided the needful for the participants in various events.

Taking classes for the students in Municipal Elementary School, Maisammaguda

As a part of the activities of SAC-Social service we planned to take the classes for the students of Municipal Elementary school, Maisammaguda. First we taught the students some difficult topics in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. We tried to make the students to understand the concepts. After teaching the subjects to the students we motivated the students by some inspirational stories and we make the students to play games to improve their knowledge. Students were very much satisfied with this activity.

Health Camp

The SAC Social Service Center run by MREC(A) Monthly between 10 am & 4.30 pm depends totally on the voluntary services offered by large hearted Doctors / Philanthropist. The Health Centre has Allopathic, Ayurvedic and Homeopathic. This programme was organized by student volunteers and staff volunteers. The student volunteers actively participated in this programme.

Bucket immersion campaign

The SAC-Social Service as a part of the activities we have conducted Massive Bucket immersion of Vinayaka. This event was conducted to get the awareness in the students the importance of clay idol. Using the idols which are prepared by plaster of paris which is going to pollute the water and environment and the effect it is going to cause. If we immerse the idols which are made by plaster of paris in a river it is going to pollute the entire water. The students along with the faculty actively participated in this idol immersion and afterwards the main idol which is there in the campus was also immersed in the water tank which is located near to the idol and the SAC Social service team was part of making arrangements for the programme.

Awareness campaign on road safety

As a part of SAC Social Service an awareness campaign on road safety was conducted on 24th January 2019 with the Traffic Department officials. Students now a days are very much interested on using the sports bikes and they are giving the importance to speed not safety. We approached the traffic department and they agreed to conduct a programme on this.The traffic officials came from PET Basheerbad Traffic police station. Initially they had an interaction with the students. They explained about the traffic rules and the fines imposed for the violation of these traffic rules. They also explained about the importance of wearing helmet and how it is helpful in saving our lives when any accident occurs. They tried to get awareness in the students and the students were very happy about the programme.

National Youth day

As a part of SAC Social Service National youth day was celebrated in the campus on January 12th. The student coordinators and faculty coordinators assembled at the venue. As a part of celebrations initially we planned to facilitate the vivekaknanda statue which is there in the campus. Firstly we facilitated the statue of Vivekananda with Flower garlands. The SAC Social service team participated actively and helped in the programme.

Massive Bucket immersion

The SAC-Social Service as a part of the activities we have conducted Massive Bucket immersion of Vinayaka. This event was conducted to get the awareness in the students the importance of clay idol. Health Awareness Programme at MREC(A)

A health awareness programme was conducted for students of MREC. The students were sensitized about the importance of washing their hands before and after eating and exercising daily and the importance of playing sports and inculcating other healthy habits to avoid falling sick. The students were asked to share their daily routines and the steps they took every day to maintain hygiene. This health camp brought awareness in the students and it also made the students to get awareness in their food habits and the importance of keeping the environment in which they are living clean so that they can avoid diseases and also they live healthy and fit. Students Activities at Municipal Elementary School in Maisammaguda

SAC-Social service planned an activity to go the nearby government school and provide the students of that school with few books and pencils. For this activity we divided our self into two teams and we went to the Elementary School which is located in maisammaguda. On our journey to the school we purchased few chocolates for the children.We had brief interaction with the students. We tried to understand the problems faced by the students. After distribution of books, pencils and chocolates our students gave some tips regarding their health and motivated them. By seeing their faces we felt happy that we had done something useful for the students.

Plantation program in MREC

The Student Association Council as a part of our programs conducted plantation program. After assembly of the students we planned to conduct plantation program in the campus such that we play a part in making the campus green. We bought the plants from nearby Nursery. Student members of SAC-Social service actively participated in the programme. Students felt very happy for conducting this programme.

As a part of SAC-Social service activities we planned to go to the Municipal High school in Kompally, and we planned to distribute general books and we want to take classes for higher studies students and give some tips to the students in the difficult subjects like Mathematics, physics, Chemistry and English. Our students interacted with students of higher classes that is 8th , 9th and 10th and they explained by taking some difficult and interesting topics in different subjects and they tried to clarify their doubts. We taught some new methods to be followed to solve the problems in Mathematics, Physics and they explained the importance of speaking in English in this highly competitive world.

2-12-2022 ,In our college, we have begun a plastic-free initiative. putting together paper bouquets for NBA guests' inspection. Making paper bouquets out of colourful papers and adding stones makes them appear really attractive and allows us to keep them for at least two years.

The motto of the Fine Arts Club is to inspire and enable our students to actively learn and develop their talent and skills that will develop artistic expression. A campus poised on sheer scientific thrills requires a balancing dose of art so that aesthetics and beauty around us are not forgotten. Having an art club is great way to keep students involved throughout the year. With limited time in the classroom, art club can serve as a nice supplement for those students who can’t get enough art. An art club also allows you the opportunity and freedom to try new things with students.Fine Arts Club- Srujanotsav Program Srujaotsav Art and Craft competition conducted on 29.08.2022 at MREC under SAC by the support of AICTE SPICES Scheme. The program starts with registration by google link ( https://forms.gle/y638KqKVmZ7JBDyY7 ). Competition had four themes which inculdes 1.Pencil Sketching 2.Acrylc Painting 3.Craft Making 4.Clay Moulding. 158 participants registered for this competition, Out of which139 students attended to the event. Screening process was done under the Creative head and Artist at Master Class Academy Radha Yamini Vinnakota . 3 participants have selected from pencil sketching, 3 from Acrylic Painting,1 from Craft Making , 1 from clay Moulding for best performance. Three special achievement prizes have been given, Special appreciation for pencil sketching, Best gold for painting, Best silver for craft making

They use card boards, wooden color pencils, and different types of brushes, and blackboard for support to draw. This club or department helps to bring an artist’s talent out.

The Management and Staff of MREC (A) jointly organized “Karthika Vana Samaradhana” on 24/11/2019 for all staff and their families at Malla Reddy Gardens. Karthika masam is considered very auspicious. A popular ritual practiced in this month is “Vanabhojanalu” literally meaning having food in gardens or in the wilderness. The staff and their families assembled at college by 8.00AM, and reached the venue by 9.00AM.Firstly, Princial Sir, performed pooja to the AMLA tree .Later the staff and their families strolled around the mango grove, had a sumptuous lunch under the trees, played a few games and returned home late in the Evening. Everyone enjoyed the outing.

Bathukamma celebrations at MREC Autonomous College on 24th October 2020 where all the management and staff of MREC participated.
