Seminar on Achieving Success by Overcoming Stress and Distractions

The seminar titled ?Achieving Success by Overcoming Stress and Distractions? was held in the Major Auditorium of the college on 22/03/2021 from 1:40 pm to 4: 10 pm for II and III B. Tech students. The program started with the host Aashritha of III ECE inviting the speaker, Mr. Gampa Nageshwer Rao, Director, Prof. A. Ramaswami Reddy, Dean of Industry Institute Interaction Cell, Prof. S. Venkata Ramaiah and the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. P. Sreehari. Mr. Gampa Nageshwer Rao, the speaker for the event is a renowned motivational speaker, psychologist and soft skills trainer. The speaker shared several nuggets of wisdom which would enable students to achieve academic and professional success by overcoming factors such as negativity, hesitation, distractions, stress and anxiety. The speaker urged the students to develop sane habits such as proper sleep, waking up early, respecting elders, parents and teachers. He gave them tips which are useful for achieving focus and overcoming distractions related to gadgets. He also told them to be sincere and dedicated in their studies, making the positive use of technology, time and teachers. The Director also spoke on the occasion and advised the students to follow the techniques provided by the speaker to steer clear of the distractions and the stress. He also felicitated the guest with a shawl and memento and expressed appreciation for conducting the seminar in an interactive and entertaining way. A few students spoke right after the speaker finished his seminar and gave their instant feedback. They expressed their happiness for conducting such a useful program. The program ended with the Dean, Student Affairs thanking the guest for a memorable presentation. He also thanked the Director and also the Dean of Industry Institute Interaction Cell. He also conveyed his thanks to other faculty members who took active part in making the seminar a success

One-day Seminar on Digital Entrepreneurship: Opportunities and challenges

A one day seminar was conducted on “Digital Entrepreneurship” on 26-02-2021 in the Auditorium of Malla Reddy Engineering College under ?Entrepreneurship Development Cell”. The Speaker has addressed that Digital entrepreneurship can strongly contribute to reduce poverty and create prosperity and livelihoods and digital entrepreneurs can reap the benefits of the global market. Young people can develop their capacity to build start-ups and innovative community initiatives by using digital Technologies as a support. Finally, at the end of the seminar, students started discussion on various innovative ideas and how and what is the procedure for start – ups

A Guest lecture was conducted on ?Setting up of Environmental Consultancy? on 19-01-2021 in the Auditorium of Malla Reddy Engineering College under ?Entrepreneurship Development Cell?. The Speaker started the lecture by asking the questions like. ? Are you interested in improving the environment? ? Would you like to help companies improve their environmental impact? ? You may want to consider a career as an environmental consultant! An environmental consultant helps private and public sector clients address environmental issues and lower environmental impact in areas such as water pollution, waste, management, air quality, and soil contamination What does an Environmental Consultant do:- Efforts towards renewable energy and technologies producing low emissions are seeing more and more government funding. Organizations that invest in research and development within these areas are also growing, and are one of the places that environmental consultants can be found. Finally at the end of the lecture students were motivated and impressed with the job which is done by Environmental consultant

One day Awareness Program on Why small Business Fail? (Online)

A One day (Online) Awareness Program was conducted on ?Why Small Business Fails? on 26- 11-2020 in under ?Entrepreneurship Development Cell?. • The speaker started the session by questioning the students what is the most common reason that small businesses fail. Students replied (lack of capital), later sir started the explaining the concept by Yes Running out of money is a small business‘s biggest risk. Owners often know what funds are needed day to day but are unclear as to how much revenue is being generated, and the disconnect can be disastrous. • Inexperience managing a business—or an unwillingness to delegate—can negatively impact small businesses, as can a poorly visualized business plan, which can lead to ongoing problems once the firm is operational. • Poorly planned or executed marketing campaigns or a lack of adequate marketing and publicity, are among the other issues that drag down small businesses. Finally the online session was ended, students got the complete awareness why and how Small Business Fails

One-day Awareness Program on Product Marketing Strategies

A One day Awareness Program was conducted on ?Product Marketing Strategies? on 15- 02-2020 in the Auditorium of Malla Reddy Engineering College under ?Entrepreneurship Development Cell?. The session started with product vision, everyone must know three important questions:- 1. Who will use it? 2. What problems does the product solve? 3. How is the success of a product measured? Later you have to see product development, positioning, and marketing strategy on thorough market research. There are two main types you need – market research and competitive research. The market research stage will reveal how viable your idea is considering the current business environment, customer purchasing habits in the industry, and the pool of competitors. So on the session was continued with different strategies like SWOT analysis etc., At the end of the session students were able to understand the complete structure of Marketing Strategies

A One day Awareness Program was conducted on ?Business Opportunities in Biotechnology? on 24-01-2020 in the Auditorium of Malla Reddy Engineering College under ?Entrepreneurship Development Cell?. The session was all about Biotechnology and the Business Opportunities in it. Biotechnology is technology that utilizes biological systems, living organisms or parts of this to develop or create different products. Brewing and baking bread are examples of processes that fall within the concept of biotechnology (use of yeast (= living organism) to produce the desired product)etc. The Indian biotechnology industry is one of the fastest-growing knowledge-based sectors in India and is expected to play a key role in shaping India‘s rapidly developing economy. With numerous comparative advantages in terms of research and development (R&D) facilities, knowledge, skills, and cost-effectiveness, the biotechnology industry in India has immense potential to emerge as a global key player. The Govt. of India has taken several initiatives to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the agro-industry proposed by the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) in a new scheme
